I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar bet

Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
